Our Story

It started simple.
My brothers and I wanted to design things we couldn’t find anywhere else.

Small ideas at first. Things that solve small problems.
We built them step by step, without chasing scale or quick profit.
The goal was never to sell to everyone.
It was to create objects that make sense to a few people and quietly improve their daily life.
I involve my younger brothers whenever I can.
Giving them the chance to design, try, and build is important to me.
When I was younger, I hesitated. I doubted. I didn’t always dare to start.
This studio is also about doing it anyway.
We build what feels right.
And we keep going from there.

The Company

A very special brand name

The name started with a drawing.
When I told my younger brother August that I was studying design, he immediately wanted to build his own things.
He wanted to understand how everything works. A few days later, he gave me a drawing of a spaceship.
On the paper, he wrote “disein”.

It wasn’t perfect.
But it was honest.

The name stayed.
